We strongly advise that you arrange travel insurance prior to departure to cover all your travel arrangements. Talk to your insurer about the various plans you might have (climbing Kilimanjaro, safari, scubadiving) and about what is included/excluded in the insurance in the event of an emergency. If your plans change, we can help you to arrange additional insurance at a reliable insurance office in Arusha.
Please ensure that you are aware of health requirements and recommended precautions for visiting Tanzania. Consult your local doctor or a specialist travel medical service to receive all the necessary vaccinations and make sure you carry all your vaccination documents on you when travelling. It doesn't happen often but failure to present required vaccination documentation (e.g. proof of Yellow Fever vaccination) may deny you entry into a country and it is better to be safe than sorry.
Should any medical emergency arise while on safari with us our membership with AMREF Flying Doctors gives us access to their 24 Hour Control Centre for medical advice and medical evacuation covering Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
